wskrsnwings - The morning sky was beautiful on this last day of 2020, with the sun rising in the east and the full moon setting in the west. M15 took over incubation early as he has been doing. Harriet preened and vocalized as she hopped branches above the nest before flying NW to the power pole. Later M15 alerted us with a short vocal that Harriet was perched in the west pasture. She only stayed a short time before flying SSW across the road. On this New Year's Eve day, a Loggerhead Shrike, Red-bellied Woodpecker, Great White Egret & Cattle Egrets visited the pasture. 2020 has been quite a full year of eaglets for H & M... E14 who left us too soon, E15 & E16 who fledged and are now out on their own (with E15 sticking around longer). May 2021 be a year of good happenings for H & M. Thank you SWFEC, hosted by Dick Pritchett Real Estate, for providing & maintaining suitable trees & environment for this Bald Eagle Family. www.SWFLEagleCam.com Thank you to Dick Pritchett Real Estate (SWFEC), Church of the Nazarene, Eagle Landing & several friends for allowing me to film on their premises.
