wskrsnwings - Harriet & M15 did not leave the pasture area this morning flying instead to the church pine. E15 checked the nest for nestovers before flying to the CSPS attempting to balance on the tip of a small snag tip before flying to the office oak. M15 flew over to the bent palm by the pond, looked around and returned to the church pine. E15 tracked the birds flying the tree branches at the pond area, warned a hawk above her to "leave her prey alone" and then flew to the bent palm to track more birds around the pond area. Empty taloned, E15 flew to a front pine and then back to the outer attic of the nest tree, tracking the larger birds flying by that might just have prey for stealing. 163 day old E15 is getting the "hang" of the hunting process, and doing well. Thank you SWFEC, hosted by Dick Pritchett Real Estate, for providing & maintaining suitable trees & environment for this Bald Eagle Family. www.SWFLEagleCam.com Thank you to Dick Pritchett Real Estate (SWFEC), Church of the Nazarene, Eagle Landing & several friends for allowing me to film on their premises.
