Lady Hawk - E17 & E18 continue to practice their flying skills today by chasing one another over the pasture and flying from tree to tree! E18 flies off the attic first and E17 follows as they soar to the pasture and land in the CSPS (church side pond snag) and then fly over the pond! E18 will fly in front of the cam 2 tree and perch watching everything from that vantage point. Great footage of E18 with wings outstretched cooling off - just beautiful! E18 will fly off cam 2 tree and land on a front snag. E17 landed on a branch just below the nest. Crows pestered and dive bombed E18! In the late afternoon, E17 made it to the pond and waded in for the first time! E17 was a bit tentative but gets in the water and takes a sip and finally does some bottom dipping! Woohoo! A halfway clean E17 now lol :) Perhaps E17 will take a full bath tomorrow! It was a fun action packed day and they are both roosting together in the outer attic under the full moon tonight! Thank you for watching! Video captured & edited by Lady Hawk Thank you SWFEC , hosted by Dick Pritchett Real Estate, for allowing us the opportunity to view these amazing eagles.
