SWFL Eagles ~ Mom Muscovy & Twelve New Ducklings At The Pond! 3.24.20

3/26/2020 3:19:42 PM

Lady Hawk - It seems our resident Muscovy duck Mom now has twelve new little ducklings to care for! She is seen swimming with these cuties in the pasture pond. Muscovy ducks are omnivorous, feeding on worms, insects, fish and reptiles. They also forage for larvae and pupae usually found under rocks, aquatic animals, snails and crabs. They also eat a variety of plant material, including weed, leaves, stems, seeds and roots, obtained by grazing or dabbling in shallow water. Thank you for watching! Video captured & edited by Lady Hawk Thank you SWFEC , hosted by Dick Pritchett Real Estate, for allowing us the opportunity to view these amazing eagles.
